WASHINGTON, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Boston Celtics got back on winning track in the NBA as they beat the Dallas Mavericks 125-112 on Wednesday night, while the Atlanta Hawks snapped the Sacramento Kings' seven-game winning streak with a 115-106 home victory.

The Celtics' Jayson Tatum had 37 points and 13 rebounds and Jaylen Brown scored 31 points to help the NBA leaders bounce back from Monday night's loss to the Chicago Bulls following nine straight wins.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 42 points, but failed to stop Dallas from suffering the first loss to the Celtics in their last five encounters.

Trae Young scored 35 points, Clint Capela added 11 points and 14 rebounds to lift the Hawks over the Kings, who had won seven games in a row.

Malik Monk led the Kings with a season-high 27 points with Domantas Sabonis adding 15 points and 13 rebounds.

In Toronto, Kyrie Irving scored 19 of his 29 points in the third quarter to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 112-98 victory against short-handed Raptors, who had only 10 healthy players.

Nic Claxton had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Nets while Kevin Durant was held to 12 points.

In Milwaukee, DeMar DeRozan had 36 points and eight assists to lift the visiting Chicago Bulls over the Bucks 118-113.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 36 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for the Bucks, who lost for just the second time in 11 home games this season.

Nikola Jokic scored 39 points, Aaron Gordon added 31 and Bruce Brown had a triple-double to help the Denver Nuggets outlast the Oklahoma City Thunder 131-126 in overtime.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 31 points and 11 assists for the Thunder.

Elsewhere, the Charlotte Hornets rallied past the Philadelphia 76ers 107-101, the Detroit Pistons beat the Utah Jazz 125-116, the Cleveland Cavaliers trounced the Portland Trail Blazers 114-96, the Miami Heat overcame the Washington Wizards 113-105, the Indiana Pacers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-101, the New Orleans Pelicans outgunned the San Antonio Spurs 129-110 and the Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 124-107.
