Now that we know the Texans own the third overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, a round of mocks have been released over the last few days. Most of those mock drafts have Houston going with help on the defensive or offensive front.
The list below will grow as more and more mock drafts enter the fray, but from a crop of 10, Oregon pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux was the most-mocked player to Houston. Three different mock drafts had the Oregon Duck plucked by the Texans.
Alabama OL Evan Neal and LSU CB Derek Stingley, Jr. were the only other players mocked more than once to the Texans. Of the 10 mock drafts, seven had Houston taking a defender, while three had the Texans selecting help for the offense.
Seven of the 10 mocks predicted offensive or defensive linemen heading to Houston.
Overall, the Texans own nine picks in the 2022 NFL Draft and four in the Top 80.
The NFL Draft begins Thursday night, April 28, in Las Vegas.
